SunOpta is an importer and distributor of food service products who needed to register and manage its products with the ECCNET/GS1 product registry. SunOpta had previously loaded its products to ECCNET/GS1 through ECCNET's Excel document interface, however this data load method was being phased out and ECCNET/GS1 members were being asked to migrate to other solutions. The Faxinating ECCNET/GS1 management software enables a company to add, delete, edit and upload their products to ECCNET/GS1. It also enables the import of existing products from a variety of input sources, including the older Excel format. In SunOpta's case, they were able to load their existing products from their old Excel file, quickly and effectively.
Once their products were loaded, SunOpta was able to send them to ECCNET/GS1. New products could be added easily and uploaded too. Faxinating's software provided SunOpta with a cost effective way of managing their ECCNET/GS1 product catalog. |
